Never been KOed besides Schilt (with debatable circumstances) and and took two of CroCop's LHKs without sign of pain.

Of course he'll get submitted easily on the ground but a tank otherwise.

    Who wins?

first thing i thought about after the fight was what if Hunt fought Lesnar. Apparently Hunt has been putting in a ton of work on the ground. Enough to pull some sweeps or sub threats, unlikely, but i'd love to see Lesnar stand toe to toe with him.

I'm Hunto's biggest fan, but I think he'd just spend far too much time on his back against Lesnar and lose a decision.

    Schilt never KOed him either.

he would be on his beack the entire fight, but we can still dream :wtc:

and yes, he was KO'd by Schilt. Not sure if you are saying it wasn't a KO because it was to the body, but it is still a KO.

that would be an interesting matchup, either hunt would knock him out in the first min of each round or he would spend the last four on his back. Brock hasn't shown any type of sub game, but he might be able to put enough of a beating on hunt to get the ref to stop the fight. Hopefully he would go strait for the takedown because from what we saw from the randy fight he would get demolished standing up...

i bet brock has a sub game he just doesn't like to play it because he can gnp like a silverback gorilla. he's been working on his submissions for like 2 years now, there's gotta be some sort of sub game by now with his level of wrestling.

i could have sworn in his first all acces he was just training BJJ for 1 hr twice a week or somethign like that. I just remember being surprised that he still trained weights so much and didnt seem to be focusing on the actual fighting aspects.

Hunt would destroy Brock if he kept the fight standing but we all know that won't happen. They'll stand for a bit before Brock shoots on Hunt and takes him down. Repeat this for 5 rounds and Lesnar will likely win a decision.

I doubt you would even see Brock try the sub game.

He would probably try to take Hunt down, pin him against the cage, and throw those monster knees over and over.

Hunt was going for a keylock/Americana on Fedor for the millionth fucking time.

He wasn't KOed against Schilt, he was TKOed

The more I think about it the more I'd love to see this matchup.

Actually by K-1 rules technically Hunt was KOed. I'm using the MMA definition :p

where do you get this? It was a KO, maybe not in your definition, but in K1, MMA, wherever else there is sanctioned striking shit was a KO.

    It's a KO by K-1's definition, but a TKO by MMA's.

In MMA a KO is being removed from consciousness and the ref has to stop the fight to stop you getting beaten on.

If you can't defend yourself properly and are taking a beating even though you're still conscious and the ref jumps in to bail you out, that's a TKO.

    Examples:

    Liddell v Evans = KO
    Couture v Lesnar = TKO

In K-1 for a KO you don't have to be knocked out, it can be from the knockdown rule, or you fail to make the count, or the ref thinks you're too hurt to continue. Basically what happened to Hunt.

For me I follow the MMA definition. KO = legit knock out, unconscious. TKO = technical knockout: you're unable to continue for a multitude of reasons.

I think it's misleading to say KO when the person hasn't actually had his lights turned out. Especially in Hunt's case. People might think someone finally knocked him out, but that wasn't the case.
