Since ive gotten my macbook back in september, Ive been having problems with wireless. I can connect fine, but then 5 minutes later i get kicked. I have a D-Link router. Do I need to buy a new router, change any settings? Idk what the problem is. Im running leopard btw.

try the router settings, turn off gaming mode and update the router's firmware.

my D-Link was having problems with my macs for some odd reason, bought a Linksys and it's been fine since...

how long have you had the D-Link? mine was like 2 years old and it started developing issues...

im using a dlink right now, no probs, if it keeps disconnecting, its usually game mode / date /time on router is wrong

i've used the same netgear router for years now. it only gave me problems once, it wouldn't resolve anything having to do with google, some type of dns issue

    a firmware update fixed that

i guess for you, it makes for a good excuse to get an airport express :dunno:
