    Did the wireless router come with software? Did you install it? It should help you make a home wireless connection.

    Unplug your cable modem, unplug your router. Wait 60 seconds.

    Plug in your cable modem, then your router and just to be sure reboot your computer.

    Sometimes wierd things happen between the cable modem and the router.

    If this doesnt work, then:

    Start -> Run
    Type: cmd
    Type: ipconfig in the new window, paste the info here.

    Must have been a bad PCI slot -- swapped it with the modem and it works fine
