is there a faster way to transfer files from one computer on a wireless network to another?

i'm transferring files from a computer connect via wireless ethernet to one directly wires to the router...it's taking an insane amount of time...

i just went into "my network places," navigated to the files on the other computer, and dragged them over...

    :dunno:

some 802.11b waps default to 1-2 Mbps instead of the 11 they are capable of sustaining. go into the router properties and check the transmission speed settings
