Ok so i have finally got broadband at home on optus cable internet however i am having some trouble making it wireless.

    Here is my set up...

Motorola SB5101 Surfboard Cable Modem (provided by ISP)
WAG54G v1.2 Wireless g ADSL Gateway (which i have had for years and used in the UK for my ADSL broadband)

Currently i am browsing and using the internet by having the RJ45 connection from the surfboard into the router and another RJ45 connection from the router into my laptop and all works fine.

If i disconect the cable from the router to my laptop i have no troubles accessing the routers Administration Interface however i cannot reach the internet.

Why can i surf the net with a wired connection but not with the wireless?

All firmware is uptodate on all hardware and i have read many resources but am yet to resolve this issue i am having.

I hope some one can help.

    Cheers guys!
