I just bought a new router wireless combo system, and it is set up for wireless i am connected wrielessly right now. but say i go grab some food for 20 mins or so come back and my wireless connection isnt working. So i gotta turn airport off, and back on again. Is there something i gotta change on my MBP? or the router? or is this normal for wireless connections? someone help because this is really getting annoying

you do know that products can be manufactured in say jan 09, shipped to stores and on shelves on may 09..and its been sitting there until some dude bought it yesterday (aug 24 09). there could be multiple firmware updates in that time.

    CHECK THE FIRMWARE.

also, are you using microwaves nearby? at one of my homes, if you are using wifi and the microwave goes on, the internet dies and i cant use the internet until the microwave is done.

anything else that can cause interference being used?

I had this issue. It had to do with my encryption though.

LOLZ. So where do you live, so I can add your un-encrypted router to my list of free internets?
