I have had a Linksys WAP54G Access Point for 3 months now. Yesterday, i just purchased another one so i can extend the range of my wirless network.

Should i be setting the new WAP up as a repeater or what? Does the new one need to be plugged into a swithch port or can it just use the original WAPs signal to extend the range?

Ive tried talking to Linksys tech support, and they apparently have no idea.

Does it have a "wireless switch" mode? I forget what linksys calls it but it's similar to that.
