so i noticed that on my WAP the antennas are removeable revealing what appears to be an F-Type connector for basic coax. my question, can i run a length of coax to another location and re-attach the antenna effectively extending my range?

if yes, how long can this cable be. would signal amplifiers extend this range or cause noise in the signal?

if no, what is the limiting factor in this?

only with very high-quality antenna cable designed for this.

the longer the cable, the worse the signal/noise.

Many companys make new antennas for extending range. Linksys is one, for example.
