Only pro I can think of is your controller won't die mid-game with a wired controller. Wireless fight sticks may have input lag too, which is bad for fighting games (not 100% on that though). Other then that, wireless FTW

    motherfuckin:werd:

wires fuckin suck. the wires eventually get pulled out of the controller if you get people that are retarded using them, you always get the dumbass that trips over the wires as they cross infront of the tv, restricted lengths that you can sit away from the tv, etc etc.

I just picked wired cause right now all my batteries are dead, and they won't seem to take a charge, also my play and charge cable is fucked and the packs wont even charge anyways.

IMO all consoles should have followed PS3's idea for charging controllers

    Wireless. Wired restricts distance.

However, it doesn't use batteries. But distance > batteries

i picked wired because i ran over the USB end of the charge 'n play cord with my chair and ruined it :hs: and i wonder about input lag. maybe it's nonexistent with today's technology though. :o

    360fail.

Last dude got it right though, PS3 controllers are awesome. Hold a charge forever, charge super fast, and when you do need to charge them in the middle of a game, you can just plug in the normal usb cord while playing which you can buy anywhere for <$5.
You can also charge it from your PC/Laptop when not playing and not wanting to keep your PS3 on

I always  when my friend has all these battery packs charging and shit for his 360 :ugh:

There should be a third option for Dual Shock 3 since it has everything and the best design :hsugh:

change batteries... plug in the usb cord... same difference, it's annoying

and you do know 360 has plug'n'charge too right?
not that i use it because i prefer rechargeable AA since they're dirt cheap (i have a bunch on standby), you can use them in just about anything, i can charge 4 of them in <15 mins, and unlike DS3/ipods/etc when the internal battery dies, i don't have to throw it away :dunno:

PS3 notifies you that your controller needs to be charged, but it will still run for another 20 minutes at least. I like how long they hold a charge as well.

    So for me, definitely wireless.

Wireless. Having 3 fully-charged ps3 controllers on the back burner at all times > anything else said so far.

Wireless PS3 and XB360 - with two spare batteries for XB360. Wired for Wii - only for GC controller. Not fond of Wii controller when used with large screen a TV.
