Just wondering what the Winston Cup NASCARS run at the 1/4?

I would assume anywhere from a mid 12 to a high 13 considering they are geared to do 200+, with 3 to 4 series gearing I would say low 10s.

actually even with their tall gearing I've heard on tv and read somewhere that they'll run low 11's to high 10's depending on exactly which gear they're using.

I have never discussed NASCAR specs before. What do those engines redline at? Like 8K RPM?

they have around 750-800 hp and rev to 8 or 9k so i would say they would do high tens in the 1/4 since there gearing is something like 273's

I think they redline at around 9.5k.

  9. It would be somewhat similar to the average high horsepower single Supra. :bigthumb:

There is a video of an IRL Cart race car going down the 1320'.....it was absolutely disgusting.....every gear had the ass end all over the track........was quite entertaining. Let me dig up that link.......
