i seen some pics of you F&N members with some :eek3: wings. id like to know what exercises you like to do or recommend for someone who doesnt have any:o . i been lifting for almost 6 months and going and it seems like im doing something wrong. maybe because i have over 20% bf, but even when i spread my lats and try to find my "wings", i just dont feel it (or as much). its just a hard lump

i trolled around wbb.com and other forums, advice i got was barbell rows with wide underhand grip, single arm seated pulleys, and wide grip overhand deadlift.

what are some of your techniques when doing deadlifts, rows, lat pull downs, pullups, etc?

heavy rows, weighted pull ups, pull downs, variations of rows, etc. just focus on the lats and get good contractions. should see growth in time :coold:

all types of rows ... bent barbell rows, db rows, pendlay rows, Yates rows, etc
all types of pullups/chinups... wide & shoulder width grip
all types of deadlifts... conventional, snatch-grip, rack pulls, rdl, sldl

I've never done anything else, and have a nice spread that's easy to see even at 20%+

    what are those?

  13. snatch grip is a wide grip *close-to* the rings, hook preferably

pendlay is a row where you reset the bar on the ground each rep

    yates rows are simply supinated(underhand)

:ugh: read your descriptions, then read mine. Yours tell him virtually nothing, whereas mine actually explain what he needs to know. Thanks for playing, though.

  19. Since when is there such strict parameters on the bent-over BB row?

He didnt ask about those anyway...

Considering your current state I doubt it has very much to do with the type of exercises and I bet it has more to do with consistency and intensity.

can use a low pulley while sitting or high pulley while standing, using a pushdown rope, pull to your face while squeezing your shoulder blades together
