Just got the Canon 50mm 1.4. So I played a little with DOF.

love the last one..especially the reflection of the VW in the lens itself.

The first few have too shallow of a DOF to actually make anything out.

The majority were at 1.4 as there was low light. Next time I'll stop it down a bit for more clarity.

Next time I'm there I'll do a few more like 5. It was just a snapshot with the on board flash. I didn't have a tripod handy, and it was too dark to get handheld exposure. I'll bring a tripod, and a diffused flash next time and see what results I can get. It was in the cellar where there are 600,000 bottles of sparkling wine aging.

The entire reason i was there was to get signed up to the 'Wine Club'. They send you two bottles of wine per month, with recipes and drinking tips. Plus all you can drink samples while you are at any of the three sister winery's. It's .
