Is it possible to get this on a CD instead of downloading? Need to upgrade my mom's computer and she's on a 56K connection.

You can download it on a system that is using broadband and burn it to CD
At the updates page; click on Personalize Windows Update and click the box for Windows Update Catalog. Under "Also see" click Windows Update Catalog then "Find updates for Microsoft Windows operating system"
Then click either WinXP RTM (not Pro or Home) followed by Search. Drop down to the bottom and you'll find the SP1 download (it'll say Netowrk Install, don't worry about it).
You'll get the full SP1 and can burn that to CD

You can also get any other updates that maybe needed to burn them as well.
