windows xp question

    you know on your desk top where you have links for "my documents" and "my computer" etc.. well, how do you change the background color behind the text. before, it was white with black font. now, it's black with white font. i forgot where to go to change those settings. can anyone point me in the right direction? thanks.

    Right click your desktop > properties > appearance

    Right click on desktop, properties, apperance tab, advanced button, item: desktop, set color. Even if you have a desktop wallpaper set, the original desktop color will show behind the icon lables. At least I think that's what you're talking about.
