It is the perfect time for my computer to shit down like this. Tons of studying to do in the next couple weeks and lots of work.

The computer boots up and says that the file winnt/system32/config/sytem file is missing or corrupt.

It asked me to put in the winxp cd but I don't have a winxp cd*. Is there anything I can do without finding this winxp cd?

You can't do much without the xp disc. Have you overclocked or changed your memory timings?
