I've got my computer hooked up to a workgroup, that i want to share my files/printer with. When i use one of the other computers, and try to access my computer it asks for a username/password. However, when I access the other computers (either from mine, or one of their's), it doesn't ask for a username password or anything. Can anyone tell me how this is accomplished?

    Thanks

Check the sharing properties for that folder(s) on your PC. Make sure you didn't inadvertantly set it with a password.

Give each computer a common username/password or you can turn on the guest account and use that to connect.

I had a situation like that, three computers in a network, two with xp, one with 2000. 2000 asked for username/pass. I made an account on the computer with no pass, and problem solved.
