On XP, the sound settings let you adjust main volume separately to WAVE volume. But how do i make them move together? Like link them.

You don't. No mixer would ever link the master fader with a channel fader.

But in my win2k pro, the volumes are all linked, i turn the main volume down and all the others go down with it. :dunno:

I run w2k pro on all mine and I've never seen the faders themselves move. Obviously when the master goes down, the overall volume will go down,

Heres a pic to explain better:

I want the 'Volume Control' and 'Wave' tabs to move together.

This is especially annoying as RealOne player's volume messes with just the 'Wave' volume.

And if wave definitly cannot be linked with main volume control, is there a way to get real player files to run on Windows media player or quicktime?

hmm, I could have sworn that I had seen a way to do this before (not necessarily of XP) but I can't remember for the life of me where it was :dunno:
