More reasons to wait at least until the first service pack comes out.

Meh...I have Vista Business and it's been working like a charm for me. Boots up in half the time as XP, and everything is as smooth as can be.

Windows Vista is behaves exactly as I would expect a beta version of malware to act. XP is the way to go right now.

(I just installed vista on my main pc as a test)

thus far, it has been a frustrating experience, but as I slowly find and disable all the shit that vista does differently than xp, it's becoming acceptable.

I like the aero interface.... Not even close to being as good as osx, but it's decent.

But microsofts idea of "security" is my idea of "annoy me as much as possible with popups and screen dims". Fuck that. DISABLED!

I just started with Vista and I'm finding it hard to use as well. I still haven't figured out what "tabs" do exactly...

The only thing I like about vista so far, is the UAC, and the fact that Firefox doesn't have a memory leak like on my desktop.

i've had so many people asking me weird hardware related questions lately. display problems and mouse problems. all of them have recently upgraded to vista, then the problems started.

Word....drivers are the serious issue with Vista right now. Not reccommended for cutting edge guys. I put it on my Desktop, and my laptop came with it. Its definately windows for dummies. XP is the new windows 98.

Xp has been great since the moment it came out, it was the driver support, or major lack of that causes retards to automatically blame the OS.
