I have a computer running windows vista and it keeps blue screening on me. I can't read what the error is it just says an unexpected error has caused the computer to shut down .

When I click to let windows repair the problem it just changes my screen resolution.

    Any ideas??

    Thanks.

I think Vista has an error log somewhere, maybe just 7. Take a picture?

can't read the error because of reboot?
go to system properties > Advanced tab > startup and recovery
in system failure, uncheck 'automatically restart'

looks like vista is trying to fix a display driver problem
    uninstall/reinstall display drivers
