What exactly is the difference between Windows Server and Windows Advanced Server? Besides the logo, the word "Advanced", and probably an extra $100 per license, that is.

Well, I think you are talking about Windows Server 2000, because that was the version to have Server and Advanced Server. If you're doing a new implementation, consider Windows Server 2003.

However, to answer your question based on Windows 2000 Server or Windows 2000 Advanced Server:

To answer your question based on some form of Windows Server 2003: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/evaluation/features/comparefeatures.mspx
