I just did a clean install of Windows 7 on one of the computers here.
I am unable to access half of the internet it seems.
I can not access any microsoft websites, although windows update works.
    I can access mozilla.com, but not support.mozilla.com.

Sites just time out if it won't work.
Nothing abnormal about the hosts file.

    What can I do?

Try using OpenDNS at opendns.com and see what happens when you manually reconfigure your DNS.

if that fixed it your dhcp server must be giving out bad dns servers.
