How big a drain on system performance compared to previous versions? I know 3 was a sytem hog. I used to run 2.9x until my work PC got re-imaged.

    Any spyware/adware?

Any spyware/adware-free alternatives you can recommend for both audio and video? Looking to have one app., not one for each.

I didnt notice any slowdown between 2.x and 5.x. But maybe I am just used to it now.

It is currently using 12.8MB of RAM, which seems kinda high to me.

No spyware/adware, best mp3 player imho.

Winamp3 was really a test version, I don't think Winamp really made it official, or if they did, they quickly realized it was not optimized and soon after combined it with 2 and released 5.

The size changed with the number of files in your playlist I found out. But I have never had mine down to 5MB.
