I've been looking for a media player that would get the shoutcast stations that I'm able to listen to on my Ubuntu box. I just discovered WinAmp and holy crap...this things cool! Great quality internet radio and TONS of stations....it's free also. Check it out.

Hehe yeah, Winamp is pretty cool about having the shoutcast/free radio/free tv stations. Sound quality for regular playback of mp3's and other files is pretty good too.

I use it. I've been using it since it was the only Windows mp3 player. It seriously took you this long to find it? Wow.

    Welcome to the club, anyway.

I have been using it for a few years now. I tried others, but it's just not the same. :o

I hate that it doesn't have AOL XM radio in the newest version though. It says it is supposed to :squint:

uh, yeah...just found it. I didn't give a crap about online music before because I didn't know there were so many free radio stations. I prolly still wouldn't know about it if not for the fact that Ubuntu has some great internet radio players and when I got my new laptop, I started looking for some Windows ones...then just stumbled across it. Noone I talk to knows about it either so that's prolly also why. I guess it's surprising when someone just discovers something you've been using for years but it's not THAT strange to not have heard about it.
