    Hi guys,

I am having an issue with my win2k machine. I'm hoping you can help me alittle... This is what happens:

The computer boots up normally. Right before i get to the login prompt, i get an error that reads, "Lsarv.dll, unable to locate dll. Lsass.exe SYstem is going to shutdown" Then it counts down 60 seconds and reboots.

I have tried chkdsk, recovery console, repair from win2kcd with no luck :(

I have searched technet and the resolution to this problem (from what they say) is to install sp4. Well i already have it installed, but i figure alright np. So i download win2ksp4 and put it onto a cd. I try gettign to the cd through recovery console with no luck. chdir will not go to the cdrom. I even tried putting in a 98 startup disk *just* to try it. No luck there either.

Anythign you guys can think of that i could try? I am tryign to avoid reinstalling win2k. But it's looking like i'm gonna have to :(

Thanks for any and all help! I really appriciate it all! :)
