    tim burton owns
he'll put some sort of dark spin on it, should be good :big grin:

he better not put any dark spin on it. The only spin he gets is that 5 min. boat ride scene...and thats it...its a fun family movie that shouldn't be remade at all...

It will be geared towards product sales and will most likely do the original no justice.

Although, I will be glad to see another Charlie Bucket, because he was completely wrong for the part.

WONKA DOES NOT NEED TO BE REMADE.

Burton made a piece of shit with PoTA, and he can not be trusted with another childhood favorite.

That's what I am saying. It's going to be near impossible to improve, so it better be very similar to the first.

I didn't realize Roald Dahl didn't like the first one :sad2:

He was by far my favorite childhood author.

There are some things that could have been done better... i just hope they dont make it all CGI and shit... but Burton could make it even more freaky than it was... there are many places to go with this film, lets hope he does it right
