I want to put together something for my daughter to play some games on, ( max payne, need for speed) type games, and not spend a buttload of cash. Also would like to use some parts I have laying around. hd WD1600JB, ati 9600 xt video card, and some pc 3200 memory. So which of these would my best bet? If you know of something better, please recommend. Much appreciated.

try AMD 64, and the 3500 or higher, they're pretty cheap these days. Make sure your graphics card will work with the motherboard, not Pci Express

Those are some pretty boyish games your girl is playing. Racing and shooting people? Damn. Wish I knew some girls like that.

I just picked up an EPoX motherboard with an AGP video card slot and a Pentium 4 CPU socket, for use with an old 2.66GHz pentium I have sitting in a drawer. I'm giving it to my brother as a birthday present. It cost $50, and since I have all the other parts I need already, it's a damn cheap birthday present for a 15-year-old.
