10 less HP and probably the same weight range and the maxima.. maybe a tad heavier.. will the CVT hold out for any performance driving

I drove an AWD one. Maybe the FWD is slightly quicker.

The FWD Murano weighs about 400 lbs. more than a new Maxima.

I have an 03 Maxima.. I dont know the weight comparo compared to the 04 Maxima.

The Murano acutally rides and drives nicer than the maxima

The CVT should be prety stout. It think it's rated to handle up to 340hp before any problems surface.

    03 is 600 more than 04?

or is the other way around? The 03 seems a tad smaller

The '04 is about 200 lbs heavier than the '03. The Murano is therefore around 600 lbs more than a 2003 Maxima.
