will my MBP Core Duo work with a 802.11n?

    I wanna get a 802.11n router but I think I have a g card...will it still work off it?

    No reason it shouldnt, if you have a Mac with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor (except the 17-inch, 1.83GHz iMac) or a Mac Pro with AirPort Extreme, you can enable it to access an 802.11n wireless network using the AirPort Extreme 802.11n Enabler software.

    yes as long as you have the mode set to "b,g,n" rather than just "n"
