Will going from 2gb of ram to 3gb be worth it?

I currently have an e6850 with 2gb of ram. Will I see a differance. The only reason I don't want to go to 4gb is I don't feel like going to vista 64.

As a gamer it's ify, it might help with the latest and greatest RAM hungry games but 2GB still should be enough.
3D modeling or video editing or anything along those lines that likes to eat RAM, then yeah it'll help.
    Other wise nope not really.

As for Vista 64, don't bother working about running a 64bit OS since there are still driver issues for Windows 64bit OSs. You don't see much of a performance difference between Vista 32 vs 64 anyway...at least not for normal day to day stuff.

It'll make a difference on Vista, not on XP.
