I currently have an RCA directv system. I'm going to buy an HDTV so now I need a satellite receiver that can decode HDTV and also Dolby Digital 5.1. If i buy a hughes or phillips receiver will it be compatible with my RCA dish?

Yes it will be. It will work fine as long as its pointing at the right satellite.

    Dishnetwork has better porn :bigthumb:

What AMan said is correct too. The Dish is just aluminum and the LNB's are interchangeable as well.
