Will an iTrip work with a non-iPod MP3 player?

    i know. i felt the same way when i found out that the exhaust system from my ford wouldn't fit my mazda. friggin' P.O.S. foreign cars.

    :ugh2: the iTrip stores its cueing files on the iPod and uses the extra conducting elements in the headphone / remote jack to communicate with the unit. That's how it was designed.

    Griffin Technologies designs and sells the iTrip... wtf does this have to do with Apple? :uh:

    I was gonna give you a :werd: but I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not since Ford owns a controlling share of Mazda :hs:

    funny thing is i thought about that fact (ford being part owner of mazda) before i hit the submit button, but i figured nobody would think or know about that in here. :o
