Thinking about setting up a wiki (probably MediaWiki) for use by a handful of people. Anyone know off hand if it's possible to set user permissions for each user? To allow access to certain pages/areas?...stuff like that.

Haven't dug deep into this yet, but can anyone give me some insight?

could it not work to let them edit everything and tell them their responsibilities?

But to answer your question my guess is you can, it might be complicated like setting up groups and allowing them to mod some sections/pages, or it might be pure simple - I don't know how it works.

Well to get it working you'll need to set it up and play around and find out all these things, you should try that if it's not too much bother to you (it is quite some work).
