Game of the year is out folks. Downloading now
make sure you h ave motion plus
fixed. Just because it will sell like hotcakes to the casual mass market due to it's name, doesn't make it GOTY.
Just because it will sell like hotcakes doesn't mean it's a not GotY material (though Starcraft 2 or MW2 will be GotY).
this isn't even game of the month.
I forgot about starcraft 2
either way this game will be the LOCAL multiplayer game of the year
Don't be stupid. What the hell else is coming out in July? (Oh right, Little King's Story )
alright finished playing a bunch of the games. So far sword fighting , golf and table tennis are good. Bowling is back too but it feels pretty much the same.
The other games feel too shallow to play more than a few times.
Also I had to use an alternative .dol file to get it to work
and no this is not game of the year but its pretty fun so far
canoeing is also fun but so tiring
i thought sky diving would be like pilot wings but instead they turned it into a gay photoshoot game and you cant control where you land
this thread shows how to use the alt dol
I played the sword fighting for like 5 hours straight yesterday
Not even vs. another player?
first did vs then decided to vs the comp together
the computer gets pretty hard around the 1200 lvl
It's a good game, but other thad sword fighting and ping pong the game is kinda meh.
Hopefully some other games will take better use of this.
What did you think of the original Wii Sports?
GOTY being released on the Wii? in 2009? This fuckin' guy
Hasn't been much else so far this year.
There have been plenty of good games in the past 6 months and there will certainly be some great ones out before Christmas.
Street Fighter 4? Niche and not fun. Certainly not GotY
Resident Evil 5? Derivative.
Killzone 2? Pretty good, I guess.
Infamous? Not bad.
Empire: Total War? I enjoyed it.
Punch-Out!!? Yuck, a Wii game.
GTA: Chinatown Wars? Handhelds never win.
There will be plenty of good games this fall, but as of right now, there isn't any real GotY leader.
