The new releases I have seen which people have had trouble with seem to have extra files with the release to get them to work. I know there have been workarounds for at least some of them :dunno:

gbatemp has idiot proof guides on their forums but for whatever reason i went on there the other day and it kept looping me around to the same three pages. i think some of their links might have been broken.

    edit:

GBAtemp is back up DO NOT UPDATE YOUR WII TO MENU 4.2 IF YOU HAVE HOMEBREW. NINTENDO WILL COMPLETELY WHIPE YOUR SYSTEM OF ANY AND ALL HOMEBREW RELATED INFO.

you can bypass updates with the usbloaders and also theres a program to do it directly to the iso file

unless nintendo finds a way to get passed this

also most of the guys that develop these hacks find workarounds anyway.

its alot more simple now and the loaders are more stable. Although you still need a hard drive that doesnt go to sleep after a while I think, otherwise you will get fucked up in the middle of the game.

I was playing golf once and it froze after a few hours of play so its still not perfect and I usually save more often.
