a lot of banks nowadays will deny payment on large purchases until you call to verify the transaction. Call your credit card's 1-800 number, they can probably clear the charge.

yup, $1500 or $2000 is usually the trigger point for most banks.

My bank is $1500. The place I order a previous computer actually recommended I do that before I complete the transaction.

Just picked up the magsafe airline adapter for my MBP last week. Used it on an American Airlines flight in coach and worked great (DC cigarette style outlet). It doesn't give you a charge but it gives you power and now I don't have to worry about battery and turning down the brightness. Can watch all the movies I want.

it should work as macs are plug an play. Do you have any stuff on the drive you want to save?

If no, then all you have to do is zero out the drive & format the drive to Mac OS Extended (Journaled). during reformating, the OS will locate any bad sectors and remove them from further use. on the plus side, you can use the drive as a time machine backup.

oh yea, if you do have stuff, save then erase and reformat.

depends on how it's formatted, but you should be able to.

if it's formatted in FAT32, OSX and windows will read and write no problem
if it's formatted in NTFS, OSX will be able to read, but not write to it natively
if it's formatted MacOS Extended, OSX will be able to use it, but windows won't.

    those are your options...
