I have a belkin USB wireless adapter for my iMac. It works, but the drivers SUCK and will never be updated.

I've heard people recommend getting a Wireless Access Point that connects through the ethernet port and requires no drivers. You might consider looking into that instead of a USB solution which requires drivers and might be finicky with OS X.

yeah someone suggested a device made for gaming devices today. I picked one up today but it was a 802.11a/g so it was a bit pricey; I'll probably return it and order a different model online and try my luck :o
