9.29.09 with a badass cover! Even has coop!

IMO NG2>Sigma but hopefully Sigma 2 goes the NG2 route and has the faster gameplay and crazier combos.

i think i may pass. dont feel like wanting to run full speed into a brick wall because of the difficulty of a NG game again.

Fuck Ninja Gaiden after the first on the 360. I played the sequel and got to the 2nd level (on Hard, btw) and said I ain't got time for this rediculously hard shit.

on a completely unrelated note i just got owned by dead space. first time im playing it and i was walking down a corridor and saw something twitching in the corner. went to check it out and saw the wall was moving. got closer, still couldnt see much. physically got out of my chair close and then a necromorph popped out of the wall because of a glitch. i think i shit my pants :wtc:

    that game was amazing

the way they did the hud makes the game so much more immersive, and with a good sound system the ambient noises and stuff are awesome

 @ tards complaining about NG1's difficulty. If you want to play a game where you can beat every boss on your first attempt go play Zelda :greddy:

Ive heard people bitch about the game being hard (the first) so many times that I just skipped playing it all together. I really dont like when a game is THAT hard. I dont mind a bit of a challenge but when all I hear about a game is that it's "so hard" it's like, fuck it. That shouldnt be the first thing you think about a game and it seems that was the number one thing anyone said about it.

if you're generally a pretty good gamer, the difficulty is pretty much perfect. there aren't any parts where you'll get stuck for a long time.

you should really at least give it a rent, both games are awesome, and easily near the top of the heap for hack/slash games.

    Yeah?

Maybe I'll give Sigma a shot...its pretty cheap these days. It looked like a God of War style game to me. I've played the DS one for a bit and enjoyed that.

I just heard horror stories about the difficulty and it really was a turn off - I'm sure I can handle it I just didnt want to pick it up and get annoyed with it immediately and just toss it on the shelf.

I was going to buy Sigma on PS3 but i just find NG2 so much better - mostly due to the much faster gameplay and more blood and crazier combos. Sigma just felt dated after I finished NG2 3 times. I still have NG2, its a classic IMO.

I love a challenge. That's why I always put games on Hard or Hardest difficulty when they actually allow you to. But Hard on this game is like Impossible. And then it's usually only like the 3rd highest difficulty! :wtf:

NGS was a "remake" of NG1.
is this game the PS3 version of NG2 or is it entirely different?

never finished NGS but this one looks cool

We're not all hardcore gaming nerds bro. Some of us like the appeal of pick and play

I am a hardcore gamer and I still got annoyed with Ninja Gaiden. You want an impossible option, fine, but you alienate gamers by making even the easiest difficulty that hard. Itagaki knew that when he did it though.
