Within 6 months of release, dealers were discounting it. Now, many dealers still have 2005 models to get rid of, and are offering $5000+ rebates.

Car guys begged and pleaded for a manual transmission V8 sedan, and when Cadillac stepped up and served it to them...they passed on it. :hsugh:

Because car guys don't make up majority of the buyers.

I love the CTS-V but I'd have to go for a used one. I want the LS6

The inteior. I've learned that GM has now satisfied itself with offering products that catch up to what the competition has now, minus one aspect where it is usually a generation or so behind. Meanwhile the competitors release something new and move ahead. It's sad.

Funny you say that, because the two major Caddilac dealers here haven't been able to keep then on the lot for long.

They're building too many of them. It's nearly impossible to get an SRT-8 outside of heavily populated areas but Vs can be found all over the place.

That's happening here too. Why would they give dealers cars they can't sell? You have to go to Minneapolis or Omaha to buy a SRT-8 here as they won't let any old Chrysler dealer order one.

i could order any car here if i pay for it, but except for the ford dealership :ugh2: most dealers around here only carry trucks with a limited selection of cars. not every color of the rainbow, just a few colors for each model. but prolly 250 trucks.

GM depreciation and the Chevy interior don't help either. But with limited production, I thought it would be a success. And though they've kept units down, Cadillac still has to offer incentives to get rid of their -Vs.

For almost around the same price, the Audi S4, even though not as fast, is more appealing.
