I've heard this sentiment several times... what makes affliction any worse than tapout or sprawl or any other mma related clothing line?

probably cuz you usually see a bunch of poseurs wearing them acting like they're UFC fighters.

they are super overpriced, but how does that compare to other endorsed mma gear? (i don't buy it so I don't know) like how much is a shirt from another company with the company logo and a fighter's name on it?

Chuck wears them, and dudes think "dude chuck liddell is totally rad man!" and wear them. People who tend to know who chuck and tito are and nobody else tend to wear that.

I think the disliking Affliction b/c people who don't fight wear them angle is kind of silly. People wear athletes jerseys all the time regardless of whether or not they play whatever sport. Fighters don't have numbers or jerseys, so what else can you do? Whats wrong with supporting your favorite fighter? I was going to buy a Barnett shirt b/c I love him, but I don't have $50 to blow on a shirt. AND I don't fight, God help me!

i dont know why people get so butt hurt by a fucking t-shirt, people wearing jerseys doesnt mean they are part of the team, its called supporting the person/team you like to watch. If you dont like the price tag dont buy it. Dont be hating on people that support their fighters.

I actually have beef with wearing jerseys as casual wear. To me there are two places for those, at the stadium/arena or if you're playing on the field. Otherwise you just look like a homo pretending to be someone else. But whatev, I'm a nazi about stupid simple shit.

Mma brands that I wear are Cobb and sinister, but I make sure that it doesn't have any names/words/images that would be a dead give away to a connection to the fight game.
