I got to try out XS Big Dot sights yesterday at Tactical Response - Fighting Pistol in Atlanta. James grabbed a g19 out of his bag and let me shoot one for the whole day. I was scared to death when the first time I got to shoot them was on the dot drill with 1" circles at about 2-3yards. This drill was for learning the lesson of 'aim small/miss small'. I was like... shit... I'm goign to look like a tool missing the target or some such nonsense. Well, I covered the dot with my Big Dot (as James explained to do in his YouTube video) and while adding pressure one gram at a time and concentrating on the front sight until... BANG. dead fucking center on the dot. I put 5 rounds through 1 of the 1"dots. I'll scan the target if someone calls BS. This wasn't even what absolutly sold me on them. The retreat to cover drill is what sold me. When I started retreating and aquired my target, the big dot pulled my eyes and really allowed me to get a great sight picture and follow through on the rapid shots. I dropped all 15 rounds into the heart and immediate area of the target because I used the trigger reset and Big Dots to my advantage. scanned...topped off... Cliffs: Shoot big dots if you haven't. They WILL make you a believer.
