Every year a rep from fuji comes to RIT and hands out free film all day. I got 55 rolls (10 rolls of 120 and 45 rolls of 35mm) of fuji film for FREE.

Looked it all up on B&H...costs over 200 dollars.

Do they check for ID? I could swing by there if it's still going on!

I still have my Canon Rebel 35mm camera. But developing pictures that you're not sure about became so expensive that it only made sense to go digital. So I sold it to my dad :hsugh:

Nice haul, hope you can put all that good stuff to use.

no they don't check id, but they're all out. they probably gave away 2 or 3 thousand dollars worth of film in two hours..

i'm probably gonna give some of it to my dad, he still loves film.

RIT has their own color film developing/large format printing equipment and they charge the cost of the materials and that's it...so all their prices are ridiculously low, for example i printed a 22x28 lambda print and it was 18 dollars, and the quality was higher than what any inkjet can do.

so cost really isn't an issue with me...and i want to do some cool reciprocity failure shots coming up

yeah they sent me an email this morning saying she would be there, but i don't think she is coming back until next fall..

yeah i only have one box of 120. there were only a few boxes of velvia but those were 4x5 and she gave them away to someone else. about storing them, is it okay to leave them in the freezer or would the best spot be in my fridge itself?

RIT is only $28000 a year? I thought it might have been closer to $40-50k a year, but then again, that might include housing.
