After all OT, the Vag and freakshiat all have archives and every once in a while we have a good thread about reloading, proper grip, training regiments and so on that when it dies deserves to be put somewhere off to the side to indicate it is a worthwhile resource.

There's about 10 threads which are genuinely illuminating / entertaining.
The rest is just us throwing shitballs at each other.

I'll forward the suggestion. Not a ton of archive worthy threads but been some informative stuff about reloading and other DIY threads that could be put there.

Kellyclan's sticky is still pretty accurate for the handgun info, just needs some updates to add a couple newer guns and maybe some pocket pistol info. Need to work up one for precision rifles and ak/ar stuff.

Archive idea isn't bad though to stick some other informative threads w/o having 11ty sticky's that most new people aren't going to read anyway.

Here's my idea, make one main stickied thread and call it "WMD FAQ - READ THIS FIRST" and in it post links to all the other informative threads (i.e. kellyclan's thread, the IPSC/USPSA FAQ, reloading 101, etc etc etc.) That way we don't have to have a pointless archive around and we don't have 100 stickies up at the top.

They aren't really arguments. One side is right, the other is wrong.

This way of thinking is exactly the reason why those threads keep popping up.
