A&P why does the background flower have a halo

    all i did in ps was color balance and adjusted levels

    It looks like it is just the bokeh from that particular shot. Can you retake it at a greater/lesser distance? The stems sort of have a darker halo on them as well, which is why I say bokeh.

    Did you check it in the original file? it looks like there's a ton of color banding / noise from resizing it. Definitely save as a higher quality jpeg next time!

    Yeap, that's what it look liek to me. You can only do so much filters before PS starts focusing on pixels you didnt realize where there.

    the spots on the flower are polen and other shit that was there in the original,my problem was the halo around the back outof focus flower, in the original file its still there . that is the first time it ever happend and i cant figure out why, and the us no USM done on this picture just levels and color balance
