If you have broadband, you should really have a router. That'll block all of the worms & hackers. Even the crappiest router you get for $20 after rebate is sufficient. XP's built in firewall is ok too and won't randomly screw with your Internet connection like Norton will.

What I've found norton does a lot of the time is block the referring web site, and that can cause several image host sites to not display the pictures. I know there's an option in there somewhere to change it.

I have to agree...NORTON SUCKS!!! Get rid of it if you can. It cause lots of problems for me and when I finally removed it....it kill my internet connection. Was not able to connect to the internet at all. I had to scrub the register and reload a bunch of drivers to get the internet back.

Norton is the lowest form of software. Even MS > Norton.
