I don't get it. He's a bjj black belt who barely fights on the ground. He has mediocre at best conditioning. But he's still one of my favorite fighters.

Why do i like him so much?

Does it all go back to his knockout of wanderlei? Is it because he punches so fast and it looks cooler then any other type of knockout?

Unrealized potential. Everyone wants to see if he'll ever be as good as he could be.

I don't really like his style. He didn't look good against Randy, chuck, tito, or anybody good for that matter.

he almost finished tito twice and looked decent against chuck...against randy he was garbage and randy had the best gameplan to take him out.

  5. He looks the part but that's about it. In his last fight against a can he looked horrible

does it bother you that he was a bjj black belt (when people still underestimated the ability of BJJ) 9 years ago and barely used it?

people on SD forums are a combo of (main forum) OTers, WWE fans, and typical UFC boo-when-the-fight-goes-to-the-ground idiots

bandwagon popularity? I think the only people who truly like him are those who know if his past. He hasn't really done anything recently to warrant a bandwagon.

He's nothing more than a has been, Vitor was wasted talent, he never did anything to deserve the attention that he got. If he is your favorite fighter, then it's definetly not his fighting that you are a fan of, because we all know he doesn't do much fighting. He is usually on the recieving end of things.

cro cop is a little more than a bandwagon fighter, for a long time he looked utterly ferocious and not just against weak fighters either. He's only lost to the absolute best (barring randleman who for once actually used his brain in a fight) and the worst matchup possible for him (he should sack his manager for signing him the hunt fight).

Vitor just doesn't seem to have the mental game right, it seems like his mind isn't in fighting anymore.
