A&P Why didn't I get a DSLR earlier?

    My body and lens came today (XSi) and I don't know how I took pictures before this. my pictures still suck but my god the pictures are spectacular compared to my old pics from my P&S. That is all.

    more than likely. Nothing interesting to photograph get. Just messing around in my apt.

    This is exactly why I don't understand it when elitists proclaim "a better camera wont make your photos better." I read this all the time in the main forum DSLR threads.

    Its true, its just another tool in the toolbox. After my experience with DSLR's, I am confident I could take great pictures with a disposable

    The pictures may be the same but the image quality will be better most of the time.

    that's what I meant to say. I have a lot of work to do on my composition but the image quality is amazing. I'm still waiting for my Understanding Exposure to get here.

    I was just kidding... most of the people here are better photographers now because they stuck around and got ridiculed/praised for their pictures. Including myself.

    being able to handhold in lowlight with high iso is pretty awesome, thats for sure
