    Man, Glocks really do suck.

I was just shooting like normal and all of the sudden BOOM!!!

Here, I took some pics from different angles. Maybe someone can tell me what went wrong.

It blew up because you touch yourself at night.

I thought that might have something to do with it.

Anyway, I can't trust a gun that doesn't have a fully supported chamber or a safety. No more Glocks for me.

a guy at the gun club i go to a lot recently blew his hand off/out, but not with a glock. he shoots not just black powder, but big bore black powder cartridge rifles. evidently in some freak accident, one of his rifles exploded. turns out, the reciever and barrel were fatigued (which really is a fluke, because he doesn't shoot them all that much), so when he fired that fateful round, the gun exploded downward through the part of the stock that his support hand just happened to be holding. it ended up removing a couple fingers, but the real problem is that it actually hollowed out his hand. it left a lot of meat, but blew a lot of bone right out of his hand. he was back up at the range a few weeks later, bandaged and pinned up in his left hand, shooting .22's (from a bench, needless to say). he's going to have to have just a LITTLE reconstructive surgery, but they're still not sure exactly what to do with it all.

my two best friends had fired that exact rifle only a couple hundred rounds before that.

im not sure kevlar gloves would totally protect you against that kind of thing. it might help, but you will still be fucked, proper.

I just saw a Kaboom where a Sako 300 WinMag blew up. The barrel plit three ways longitudinally. I sure hope the shooter was OK.

It blew up with less than 20 shots through it.

It is almost enought to make a guy want to stop shooting.
