I look all over the place.. Sportbikes.net, ebay craigslist.. I cant find much. Looking for a used older bike around $3500.. There isnt anything out there. Its like people dont ever sell their bikes.

the problem is that everyone thinks that their bikes are worth their weight in gold

+1 on that, i'd probably sell mine for a decent price (5-5.5k), but i def wouldn't take a low ball offer.

    btw, i ride a 03 RR w/ 12k miles.

i'd rather keep my bike then sell it and then have a hard time finding a new one.

This is a really bad time to buy a used bike. This time of year everyone and their mothers are looking so people know that they could get a good amount for their used bike. If anything I'd wait and start looking again towards the end of riding season here in the North East.

thats the logical thing to do.. But I want to ride now.. It sucks to buy something in September, ride a few times and have to put it away.

You will get raped by idiots right now if you are wanting a crotch rocket. aCab is right, get a used 500 or something to use for this season and then when winter rolls around, look for something better. Hell, get something that's NOT a sportbike now and then you can have 2 for next year :)
A nice used enduro or a cruiser or even an older standard.

I have an 03 600rr with no title but clean vin if you want to make an offer. Bike is stock besides flush mounts and has just over 5,000 miles. Going to pick up an 07 soon so I wont need this one much longer.

There are always a LOT of them for sale around here (KC)... This time of year it is a seller's market though... In the winter, people practially give them away...
