Why can't anyone give me a straight answer (cardio on empty stomach)

    If I do 45 minutes of LISS in the morning on off lifting days, should I eat nothing and do it first thing, or maybe drink a shake and do it, or have a full breakfast (for me its oalmeal and shake) before running? the machine is elliptical so it's low impact and i use hands so it's not strenuous.

    edit: not sure if this matters but goals are strictly losing fat...the lifting is for only maintaining (and so far it has worked, started the summer at 19% bf and am floating around 15%)

    No one can give you a straight answer because there is no proven answer -.-

    I do cardio on an empty stomache, some people do it on a full stomache and get better results... its all about however you want to do it, as long as you are doing it and eating below maintainance calories you are going to lose fat

    Doesn't really matter. I don't l ike to exercise on a full stomache, but I burn out if i don't have something in my belly. I typically have a shake before cardio.

    theres proven answers that actually go both ways...but im not your google bitch. Find it yourself or just do cardio how it feels best to you

    I do cardio after liftin but I guess its all personal opinions.
