Every single PT test I have ever taken has been in the morning. I feel better later on in the day to take one, and I would probably do better.

Well I'm not. I got 292 right now. I'm saying later on in the day, I feel like I have much more energy to perform for it.

PT tests make me want to get out of the military. Yay we're boosting our fitness program so we can spend more man hours on PT and even more money on PT related injuries from fatties trying too hard.

I personally hate doing any kinda PT in the morning. Having just woken up, I'm alot weaker than in the afternoon. Same goes for lifting at the gym. I find lifting in the morning at 6 am I'm ALOT MORE noticeably weaker in my lifts than when I lift in the afternoon after work. The only perk I can see if during the really hot summer doing it in the morning, but fuck it, what do i know, I'm just a private e-5

    I haven't taken a PT test in over a year:dunno:

I love working out and doing sports ect. but I can't stand organized PT. The whole early in the morning, put on a stupid uniform, stand around in a formation, and do everything to the weakest person standard always puts me in a bad mood early in the morning.

    I agree.

I would rather do mine later in the day also.

Mine was monday at 0630. granted it's ROTC, but I also don't feel up to my optimum level of energy for the day. I'm also pissed I missed my goal of breaking into the 10s by 10 seconds. I got to see what my breakfast looked like partially digested also.

Depends on the unit. Our unit PT is rigorous. Others go out and play flag football.

Damn. I wish I had that. Oh well, at least I don't have to do PT two days out of the week.

I took one here in December at 0600 at -11. I'm 22 and my 16:36 run time was :bowdown::bowdown: 60% ftw.

You're not so fat in the morning and they're more concerned with you passing tape than getting a 300.

Well, here in Hawaii, we like to do PT before it gets too hot. So 6am is perfect.

I hated doing PT in the morning here. It was too cold.

the PT Test is a gauge of physical fitness and readiness. It is held in morning because that is your weakest time of day (right after you wake up) In the afternoon your muscles have loosened up and your will normally perform better.

I thought for sure that it was just the opposite. I have the most energy in the morning.

its not the energy it is the state of the muscles. After a long night of sleeping your muscles will not be as loose as in the afternoon.

Tape? What about the people that aren't overweight and don't need to be taped?
